    There's something going on over there.

    You always think there's something going on over there.  If you spent half the time paying attention to other here  that you spend at that window    Why didn't you just marry Lorraine when you got out of high school?  That way you wouldn't have to spend all your time trying to figure out what that family is up to.

    Are you crazy?  Me marry Lorraine?  No siree!  Better him than me!  That's all I got to say!

    Well if it's not Lorraine Brennaman, what is it?  What is it with you and that family?

    I don't know, I just feel like I should watch out for the old man.  Him and my dad were close, and

    That old man don't need anybody to look out for him.  He's got a whole family.  Elvira's not even a block away, and Lorraine's up to this end of town every day.  You don't need to worry about that old man.

    That's what I mean!  Something's going on; they're up here twice as much as usual.  Art just keeps walking around the house and looking at the roof, spends hours just standing around looking.  And no sooner are they out the drive and Elvira comes up.  You watch; tomorrow's Sunday; I bet you they're up here the best part of the day.  Something's going on.

    So?  What are you going to do about it?  It's none of your business.
